Ms. Mane was elected into her second term in the Lok Sabha from the constituency of Ichalkaranji in Maharashtra.

She is currently a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Information Technology, as well as the committee on Petitions. In her previous term, she has also served on the Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture.

A political and social worker, as well as an agriculturist and educationist by profession, Ms. Mane holds a keen interest in organizing co-operative societies and educational institutions. She is actively engaged in projects for women's welfare, rural development, poverty alleviation and in providing special assistance to farmers in receiving remunerative prices, irrigation facilities, etc.

Ms. Mane holds a B.A (Hon's) in Political Science from Shivaji University in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
