Mr. Scindia, a member of the Lok Sabha from Madhya Pradesh belongs to the Indian National Congress.

Mr. Scindia did his schooling at the Doon School, Dehradun. He graduated from the renowned Harvard University, USA and took his MBA degree from Stanford University, Graduate School of Business.

He is a member of Standing Committee on Finance, Consultative Committee on External Affairs; Chairman of the Board, The Scindia School, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association; Madhav Institute of Technology & Sciences; Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Scindia Devasthan Trust. He is also a Member of the Board -- Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Indian Public School's Society.

He worked in Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd., (1994-97) as a Financial analyst. He played a key role in developing a diversified client base and introducing global capital market instruments to the domestic corporate market. Mr. Scindia has also assisted domestic and international corporations such as Rolls Royce, Raytheon, RPG group etc in M & A activity. He was the core team member in a capital raising effort for the Indian Hotels Co. Ltd.

He has also worked with the UN Department of Economic Affairs and Social Development and with Merrill Lynch, US (1991).
