The second IUFP Roundtable meet hosted Ambassador Richard Haass, Director Policy Planning, US Department of State and the U.S. Ambassador in India, Mr. Robert Blackwill, on October 28, 2002. Issues such as counter-terrorism, Indo-Pakistan relations, Indo-US defence cooperation and more significantly the Iraq crisis constituted the major part of the discussion.

Members of Parliament such as, Mr. Kapil Sibal, Mr. Praful Patel, Mr. Rajeev Shukla, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Mr. B.J. Panda, Mr. V.P.S. Badnore, Mr. Neil Joeck, Policy Planning Group, Department of State, Mr. Geoffrey Pyatt, Minister-Counsellor (Political), U.S. Embassy, among others were part of the meeting.
